Welcome to the Virginia Association of School Superintendents' on-line information network. The purpose of our site is two-fold. First, we provide information about VASS for non-members seeking information about our organization. Second, we provide a comprehensive, interactive resource to connect VASS members and provide them with important information in a timely fashion.

Our Mission

The Virginia Association of School Superintendents (VASS) is a professional organization dedicated to the mission of providing leadership and advocacy for public school education throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Invitation to Become a Member

On behalf of the members of the Virginia Association of School Superintendents, we wish to extend this invitation to you to become a member of our influential organization. Founded in 1885, VASS has provided educational leadership in Virginia for more than a century and will continue to be a prominent leader on issues which affect educators across the state.
